Pink Aid’s Pink Purse
Pink Aid’s newest initiative to help local breast cancer patients is our “Pink Purse.” Launched with the help of Pink Aid’s most passionate supporters, this fund allows Pink Aid to give directly to individuals or organizations that help individuals in need.
If you know, or are, a breast cancer patient residing in Connecticut who is suffering emergency personal or financial setbacks, apply to the Pink Aid’s Pink Purse for financial assistance within a couple of weeks.
Please note that all applicants must present a diagnosis of breast cancer, documentation that they are currently under (or have recently completed) breast cancer treatment as well as a referral from a hospital, doctor, nurse navigator or 501C3 organization.
Pink Aid is now accepting Pink Purse applications. Apply Now.
Pink Aid’s Breast Cancer Support Hotline — 1-800-532-4290
At Pink Aid, we have long had a dream of offering all the breast cancer patients and survivors we serve with a peer support hotline. Now, through a partnership with Support Connection, our lines are open! Support Connection is a breast cancer hotline, manned by professional peer counselors, all of whom are breast cancer survivors. The hotline will offer two critical kinds of support: emotional support for anyone who is newly diagnosed with breast cancer, patients and survivors; and navigational support to help new breast cancer patients find resources.
With Pink Aid’s partnership, Support Connection has been educated on the landscape of Connecticut’s breast health centers, doctors and programs. We are thrilled to offer this service. If you know anyone who needs confidential, compassionate support, tell them to call!
Breast Cancer Support Hotline — Open Mon.-Fri., 9am-5pm year-round
