PINK AID

Compassion until there's a cure

Pink Aid’s mission is to help underserved breast cancer patients survive treatment with support and dignity, to provide screening and financial assistance to those in need, and to empower breast cancer survivors to heal by helping and inspiring others.

Pink Aid was founded in 2011 to serve the entire state of Connecticut and a Long Island chapter was founded in 2014 to serve all of Long Island, New York.

Pink Aid delivers on it mission in two ways: through Pink Aid Grants and through Pink Aid’s signature initiative Pink Aid’s Pink Purse.

Pink Aid Grants

Pink Aid Grants supports local programs, funded by the Pink Aid chapters in Connecticut and Long Island. These programs provide services to breast cancer patients in need throughout the breast cancer cycle, from free screening and advanced testing to help covering non-medical expenses, such as household bills, food cards, wigs, recovery garments, emotional wellness services and more. Some of the programs we support are established hospital foundations and national non-profits, while others are smaller grass roots organizations. Large or small, they share our goal to help local women survive breast cancer with compassion.

Pink Aid’s Pink Purse

Pink Aid’s Pink Purse was founded in 2015 to provide direct emergency assistance to individuals in financial crisis during treatment. Funds provide help with non-medical, household expenses, such as rent and utility payments, with a prompt response time.

Pink Aid offers a welcome opportunity to join together to make a real difference in the lives of many women and their families, within and around our communities.

Founded in 2011, Pink Aid was granted 501(c)(3) status in 2015. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
