2024 CT PINK AFTER DARK EVENT & FASHION SHOW
EVENT WRAP-UP
PINK AFTER DARK – AN EVENING OF COMPASSION!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all who attended Pink Aid’s incredibly special Pink After Dark event at Mitchells.
We are especially grateful to our honorees and mission speakers who spoke so eloquently about their own experiences with breast cancer and how important Pink Aid is to them personally. Ben Crump, civil rights activist, spoke about the importance of health equity and Pink Aid’s work helping the most underserved breast cancer patients get the care they need AND provide for their families.
Shelenna McKissick, moved everyone in the room when she spoke about how Pink Aid helped her and her family during her most difficult moments. And, our newest SOUL sister, Stacey Griffith, the inspirational and motivational fitness guru, had everyone on their feet when she spoke about her own breast cancer journey and never giving up.
And of course, the highlight of the evening was our Celebration of Life Warrior Fashion Show featuring our amazing breast cancer Warriors. Special thanks to Mitchell’s and their entire staff for their support and organizing a beautiful fashion show along with Brunello Cucinelli whose support year in and year out makes this event so incredibly special for everyone.
A final special thanks to the many corporate partners, event sponsors, donors, volunteers and staff who make this event possible. And, with YOUR support we raised more than $1.4 million for Pink Aid’s mission of providing compassionate support and financial aid to breast cancer patients in need across the country. We couldn’t do it without you.
