PINK AID’S PRIVACY POLICY

This webpage describes our privacy policy guidelines regarding the collection and use of personal or corporate information that you provide us.  Pink Aid's website contains links to other websites belonging to community partners and other sites of interest to our users.  Pink Aid does not control the privacy practices of these other sites.  To understand how those websites may collect, use, and/or share your information, please read the privacy policies for those websites.

OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR DONORS

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by Pink Aid, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform” includes, but not limited to,  the Pink Aid website, fundraising software, CRM, and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES PINK AID COLLECT AND HOW IS IT USED? 

Pink Aid collects information from users of its website (“Site”), including potential participants, donors, prospective employees, financial aid recipients, breast cancer patients and survivors, grantees and partner organizations to name a few, including the information you provide to us by submitting information to us through use of the Site. Pink Aid may keep track of this information and the information that you provide to us when you visit the Site for our internal review, research, and marketing purposes, press inquiries or aggregate statistical analysis and Site customization.  You may request to remove yourself from this distribution list by sending a request to info@pinkaid.org.

DOES PINK AID SHARE MY INFORMATION?

We reserve the right to share information about you on an anonymized, de-identified, and/or aggregate basis with our partner organizations, including for marketingor research purposes.  If you would like to opt out of having Pink Aid share your information, you may send a request to info@pinkaid.org.  From time to time, we may be required to provide personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law.  We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

DOES PINK AID’S WEBSITE USE COOKIES?

Pink Aid may collect other types of data from Site users through the use of “cookies,” which are text files that a website places on the hard drive of a user’s computer about his/her use of a website, including what pages the user visited, the date and time the user visited a page, and how long the user visited a page.

When the user returns to the web site, the user’s browser sends that information back to the site. Pink Aid may use the information provided by cookies to analyze trends, administer the Site, or for research, marketing, or promotional purposes.

HOW DOES PINK AID SECURE MY INFORMATION? 

Pink Aid is committed to protecting the personal information you entrust to us.  We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures reasonably designed to protect personal information within our organization. In spite of the safeguards that we maintain, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network is 100% secure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us and you must do so at your own risk. However, once we have received your information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to protect its security. WILL THIS PRIVACY POLICY CHANGE?

Pink Aid may modify the provisions of its privacy policy from time to time.  The new provisions will be posted to the Site and will be effective as soon as they are posted.  Please check this page periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes to this policy.
