AMY KATZ

Amy Katz is Co-Founder, Chairman and Founding Former President of Pink Aid. Amy also oversees Pink Aid’s national Emergency Financial Assistance Program (Pink Purse) and Board Governance. 
Since her 2008 breast cancer diagnosis, Amy has devoted her efforts to helping women through their breast cancer journey. Prior to Pink Aid, she established Norwalk Hospital’s Community Mammogram Program for underinsured patients and launched the Breast Health Initiative at Emek Hospital in Israel. Amy has served on the boards of the Norwalk Hospital Foundation, UJA/Federation and The Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Hospital. She and her husband, Neil, are long time supporters of organizations including State of Israel Bonds, DOROT, MorseLife Health System, The Meeting House and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Amy received the 2022 American Cancer Society Award/ Honoree for Women Leading the Way to Wellness. 
Amy began her professional career in the commercial real estate industry in Manhattan, before starting her own corporate gift business. Amy is a graduate of Syracuse University. She resides in Westport, CT with Neil and is the proud mother of Jaclyn (Jake) and David (Abby) and grandmother of Brody and Poppy. Amy lives every day by Pink Aid’s motto, “compassion until there’s a cure.”

AMY FALK GROSS

Amy Gross is a co-founder of Pink Aid, is responsible for all design and graphics for Pink Aid and currently serves on its Board of Directors, Pink School Fundraising Committee and Pink Aid’s Pink Purse. After attending the University of Michigan, Ms Gross received her BFA from the New School/Parsons School of Design. Ms Gross has served on the Board of Directors of The Samara Jan Turkel Foundation/Variety Children’s Charity, Weston PTO, and founded Athletes Against Aids, a NYC non-profit organization that raised funds through individual sponsorships of athletes for GMHC. She is the co-president/creative director of WSAA, a branding agency in CT. Amy is married with three children and lives in Weston, CT.

RENÉE MANDIS

Renée Mandis is a co-founder of Pink Aid. Since Pink Aid’s inception, she has been the organization’s lead writer. Together with Amy Gross, Pink Aid’s lead visual & graphics director, they create and direct the organization’s branding, messaging, videos, website and marketing materials.  Renée also served as founding chair of Pink Aid’s Grants and Allocations Committees, on which she still serves today.
Renée is the owner and principal of WSAA, inc., a branding and advertising firm in Westport, Connecticut, where she serves as president. Her responsibilities include creative direction, copywriting, account management and photo and video shoot production. Ms. Mandis is a graduate of Binghamton University, from which she holds B.A.’s in English Literature and Spanish Literature. Renée lives in Weston, Connecticut with her husband, Richard Wingate. She is the proud mother of Jordan and Jackson and stepmom to Rachael and Nicholas. Fifteen years after co-founding the organization, Renéewas diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in December of 2025 and as a “Warrior” is ever more passionate about Pink Aid.

ANDREW MITCHELL-NAMDAR

Andrew Mitchell-Namdar is a co-founder and Past President of Pink Aid. 
Since inception, Andrew has been responsible for helping steer the development and growth of the organization and for running Pink Aid’s large annual fundraising galas and fashion shows.
Andrew also serves on the Board of Directors of the Breast Cancer Alliance, has worked  with Near Far Aid Organization for over 20 years, is a National Leadership Council Member of Lambda Legal and Co-Chairs their annual Connecticut Cares Event. 
Andrew graduated with a BA in Sociology and English Literature from Hamilton College. He is Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services for Mitchell Stores, as well as a co-owner. Andrew resides with his husband Isaac in Stamford, CT.

SUSAN BYER

Susan Byer is a Past President as well as the Founding and current Treasurer of Pink Aid. Susan has been instrumental in Pink Aid Governance and since inception has overseen all financial operations of Pink Aid.  Susan graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant. She had an extensive career at Arthur Andersen LLP, primarily in Litigation and Financial Economic Consulting. Susan has served on many Boards of Directors including the Jewish Community Center of St. Louis, the JCC Health Club Board, where she also served as President, and the Ladue Education Foundation Board. Susan and her husband Matthew, reside in Westport CT, and enjoy their time with their children Adam, Zach (Alexa), and Elizabeth (aka Biz).

Rosanne Cavallero

Rosanne has been involved with Pink Aid Long Island for 14 years. She has been honored to serve as board member, co-president, co-VP, member of the Advisory Council, co-chair of Grants and Gift Bag Committees and co-chair of the annual luncheon in 2016.
In addition to Pink Aid, Rosanne has served as a board member of Family and Children’s Association for 25 years and because of her dedication to the serving those in need from Pre-K to Seniors in the community, she received the distinguished “Woman of the Year ‘’ award. Rosanne has also been involved with other local charities, including Long Island Cares and Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
When they are not traveling, she and her husband Rich feel most blessed enjoying time with her five children and seven grandchildren.

SUSAN COHEN

Susan has been instrumental in Pink Aid Long Island for many years. In 2019 she served as its Co-President and has also served as Long Island’s Corporate Development co-chair and a member of Pink Aid’s Board of Directors. She was event co-chair for Long Island’s 3rd Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show and a model in the Warrior Fashion Show the previous year. Prior to her involvement with Pink Aid, Susan was a member of the Executive Board of Long Islanders Against Breast Cancer. She received the Humanitarian Honoree Award from the American Cancer Society in 2007 and remained involved in their annual Gala of Hope for many years. Susan also served as a member of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Association Board. Through the support of Susan’s husband, her three children her family and friends, she will continue as an active volunteer, fundraiser and advocate for cancer-related initiatives until there is a cure.

LAURYN KOKE

Lauryn has served as President and Vice President of Pink Aid Long Island and as Co-Chair of its 2019 Annual Luncheon, as well as serving on Pink Aid’s Board of Directors. Lauryn was previously co-chair of the Long Island Grants committee and co-chaired the auction and gift bag committees for the annual Luncheon.  Lauryn is currently focused on expanding Pink Aid’s national fundraising footprint, after successfully launching our first event in Palm Beach in 2026. 
Lauryn attended Northeastern University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. During her 20 year career, she was a manager of multiple outpatient offices and then shifted to working with the pediatric population within Long Island school districts. She currently works as a real estate salesperson at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty in the Cold Spring Harbor office. Lauryn resides in Lloyd Harbor with her husband and three children.

COURTNEY PRUSSIN

Courtney Prussin’s introduction to Pink Aid began with a Lazy Boy. She had been diagnosed with extensive DCIS at her 40-year-old mammogram and recovered from her double mastectomy in the chair. Compassionate to the core, Courtney wanted to pass the chair on to someone who could use it. A friend suggested Pink Aid, she called, and the rest is history. She has since served as co-president, she co-chaired the launch of Pink Posse, and led Pink Aid’s first social media campaign in 2020, “Pucker Up for Pink Aid.” Along with her husband Jarret, Courtney has been been invaluable in raising corporate funds and awareness of the organization.
Courtney is an active member of Chabad of Westport and was honored with Jarret at their annual Gala with the Young Leadership Award. She graduated from the University of Florida and received her Master’s in Mass Communication at Boston University. Courtney worked in advertising in New York City before moving with her husband and daughter, Camryn to Westport, CT. Together, the family walked the runway at our 2022 Celebration of Life Warrior Fashion Show.

TAMMY WINTER

After attending Pink Aid Connecticut in its early years, Tammy Winter was instrumental in expanding its mission, by co-founding Pink Aid Long Island with Ali and Chris Mitchell, all serving as co-chairs of its inaugural luncheon. Tammy has been a Pink Aid Board Member, serves on the Grant Committee and was thrilled to be help initiate Pink Aid Long Island’s Pink Purse program, and to co-chair our National Pink Purse program.  Tammy graduated with a marketing degree from Syracuse University. She has been a volunteer at The Meeting House in Manhattan, a socialization program for special needs children. Tammy is married with 2 children and lives in Dix Hills.

TAMMY ZELKOWITZ

Tammy Zelkowitz has held several instrumental roles in Pink Aid since its foundation. Tammy has served as President, co-President and Secretary, has co-chaired Pink Aid’s third annual luncheon event in 2013, and has also chaired several event and standing committees. Today, along with Jeannie Kriftcher, Tammy co-chairs Pink Aid’s inaugural Connecticut Advisory Council.
In 2010, Tammy created and initiated Staples High School “Get Your Pink On” campaign, an ongoing annual fall fundraiser involving all athletic teams. Tammy chaired Norwalk Hospital’s Whittingham Cancer Center Benefit Walk for two years and was lead coordinator for six years prior. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Tammy is a former retail buyer with a B.S. in Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Technology. She is currently a realtor for William Pitt Sotheby’s in Westport, CT and resides in Westport with her husband, Breast Cancer Oncologist/Pink Aid Advisor Richard Zelkowitz. She is the proud mom of Rikki and Joey and a new grandmother.
