We are still “blushing” and savoring every moment of Pink Aid’s 5th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show at Mitchells! It truly was a day of celebration, shared by survivors, volunteers, donors and sponsors alike. Thanks to the generosity of this community, we were able to raise over $500,000 in support of Pink Aid’s mission!

The day included many special moments, from the beautiful setting created by the “Blush”-themed designer items in partnership with NYC&G Magazine to the gorgeous “Best of Fall 2018” runway show from Vince. Guest Speaker Carolyn Gusoff’s inspiring words took us along on the roller coaster ride of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and her courageous personal story of facing it down with “Call me a Survivor.” High Fives from the crowd supported a record-breaking Live Auction and paddle raise for the Wall of Compassion. The pinnacle of the day, as always, was the Celebration of Life Fashion Show, where eleven survivors walked the runway with beauty and strength, followed by a standing ovation-inducing final loop of 25 Alumnae Models in attendance from our past four years.
