Pink Purse Volunteer Training
January 12 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
If you have always wanted to know how Pink Aid helps keep a patient’s lights on, a roof over her head and food on the table, now is the time!
We are offering a Pink Purse Reviewer Training Session:
Thursday, January 12
Mitchells – Conference Room downstairs
Pink Aid’s Pink Purse has now expanded into 34 states and the program receives over 100 applications per month! This essential work of our organization really lets you see the impact that Pink Aid can have directly on patients’ lives.
Once you have been trained, you will join a team of reviewers who evaluate applications to ensure they meet our criteria for funding. This can be done from your computer in your own home on your own time. We generally ask that you sign up for a month at a time and you will receive emails inviting you to conduct reviews in the google drive only for the month(s) of your choosing.
If you are ready to help out, please join us for this training session at Mitchells. Our dynamo Pink Purse Program Coordinator, Jacqueline May, will lead the session to help you become competent and confident reviewers. The session will last about an hour.
PLEASE RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org If you prefer to join us via Zoom please also let us know that. Please also share this invite with anyone else you think may be interested.
Thank you so much for considering joining us. I look forward to seeing you there!
Note: Pink Aid is the only national organization providing compassionate support and rapid emergency financial assistance to breast cancer patients in treatment.
The Pink Purse program was created in direct response to the dire, country-wide epidemic of significant unmet needs among patients who were not only struggling with their breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, but with its significant financial ramifications.
