Kelly Simmers is a Managing Director and currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Management for the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance group.

Ms. Simmers has over 20 years of experience in finance and, prior to joining MidCap Financial, was a Principal at Gladstone Capital. Ms. Simmers began her career as an Associate in the investment banking division of Wells Fargo. Ms. Simmers holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a BBA from The College of William and Mary.
