Susan Cohen is the Chair for Corporate Sponsorships for Pink Aid Long Island. Susan has been involved with Pink Aid for many years. In 2019 she served as Long Island’s Co-President and was a member of the Pink Aid Board of DIrectors. She was event Co Chair for Long Island’s 3rd Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, and a model in the Survivor Fashion Show the previous year. Prior to her involvement with Pink Aid, Susan was a member of the Executive Board of Long Islanders Against Breast Cancer. She received the Humanitarian Honoree Award from the American Cancer Society in 2007 and remained actively involved in their annual Gala of Hope for many years. Susan also served as a member of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Association Board. Through the support of Susan’s husband, her three children and all of her family and friends she will continue to move forward as an active volunteer, fundraiser and advocate for cancer research in the hope that it will one day be eradicated.

TAMMY WINTER

Tammy Winter is a Pink Aid board member and was instrumental in founding Pink Aid Long Island, serving as a co-chair of its inaugural luncheon. She serves on the Grant Committee and is thrilled to be instrumental in initiating Pink Aid Long Island’s Pink Purse program Tammy graduated with a marketing degree from Syracuse University. She is currently volunteering at The Meeting House in Manhattan, a socialization program for special needs children. Tammy is married with 2 children and lives in Dix Hills.

BONNIE WILLIAMSON

Bonnie has been with Pink Aid LI since its inception in 2014. She was Co-Chair for the first two annual events and has worked on Committees over the last two years as well as chairing the successful Gents Auction in 2017. Bonnie also serves on the Grant Committee. Bonnie graduated from the University of Michigan as a language major in French and Russian and studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. She has a Masters in French literature and was a flight attendant for Pan Am where she did the Russian announcements for the inaugural flight to Moscow and later taught French in a Middle School. She is currently an Associate Broker and Director at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, an annual major sponsor of the Pink Aid Luncheon. Having raised three children, her extended family now includes two daughter in laws and three grandchildren. Bonnie is on the Huntington Library Foundation Board and the Gala Committee for Huntington Hospital. The youngest of 5 siblings, she has two sisters who are breast cancer survivors which helped instill her passion for Pink Aid.

DIANA MITCHNICK

Diana Mitchnick is Pink Aid Long Island’s Social Media chairperson and currently serves on the Grant Committee. Diana served as a Co-Chair for Pink Aid Long Island’s Inaugural Annual Luncheon and also co-chaired and participated in the Celebration of Life Fashion Show at the 2015 event. Diana was an honoree in 2016 for Integrated Medical Foundation’s Blue and Pink Ribbon Event which helped to raise funds for Pink Aid. Diana received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY @ Binghamton and completed the Human Resources Certificate Program at New York University. Diana has a background in Human Resources and worked for several Manhattan companies, including First Boston and Information Builders, Inc. Diana is active at Dix Hills Jewish Center where she is a member of the sisterhood and is a teacher at their Early Childhood Academy. Diana and her husband have two daughters and resides in Dix Hills, New York.

PAM PRAETORIUS

Pam Praetorius is Co-Chair of Pink Aid’s Pink Purse and previously served as Luncheon Co Chair and on several luncheon committees including Sponsorship, Wall of Compassion and Auction. She has had an extensive music industry career spanning record production, publishing, touring and talent management, guiding the careers of platinum-selling artists and assembling a portfolio of Top 40 hits achieving gold and platinum sales. Having co-founded and served as COO of several diverse organizations, Pam has first-hand knowledge and experience with the challenges facing artists and owners of private asset-based companies. Now, in her current role with Morgan Stanley, Pam’s goal is to assist individuals in preserving their wealth and maximizing returns. A graduate of Hofstra University and an active member of the Long Island Greek community, Pam has founded The Good Neighbor Fund and the Holiday Spirit Program which provide financial relief to health and poverty stricken individuals here at home. In addition to serving on the board of the Women Economic Developers of Long Island (WEDLI), Pam also serves as a member of the board of the Maurer Foundation for Breast Health Education. Pam currently resides in Huntington, New York, with her husband. She has two grown sons with careers in media.

CAROLYN KELLY WALKIN

Since 2014 Carolyn has been an active and committed committee member of Pink Aid Long Island. In early 2015 she kicked off the first Play for Pink activity for the Long Island chapter, Skate for Pink. Since then she has led the Long Island initiatives for Sweat 4 Pink, Play for Pink and created the Pink LemonAide stand fundraiser and for several years to date has been the Community Outreach Chairperson. Carolyn has co-chaired several Luncheon committees, has been the high school volunteer liaison and a passionate Grant Committee member. Carolyn owns a successful marketing communications business and is the publisher of a community magazine here on Long Island’s North Shore. Prior to working locally, Carolyn held senior Director roles at the largest media and advertising companies in the world including Clear Channel, Publicis and WPP. Carolyn resides in Huntington, NY with her husband and two young Pink Aid fundraisers.
